Fitbit recalls 1.7M smartwatches over burn hazard

The fitness company issued the recall because the lithium-ion battery inside the Ionic smartwatches, which track activity, heart rate, and sleep, can overheat, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
