SchoolStatus Prepares to Answer K12 Communication Needs with New Hires

The K12 data and communications software company has welcomed three new specialists to its sales team.

ATLANTA - Sept. 8, 2020 - PRLog -- As districts focus on strengthening relationships between school and home, SchoolStatus, the district-wide communication tool that integrates key student data, announces the addition of three new sales professionals. The newest team members, Matt Bishop, Beth Curington, and Jennifer Tongel, enhance efforts in bringing tools to districts mitigating communication challenges due to COVID-19 and increase geographic expansion.

Matt Bishop, Sales Development Representative
Originally from the Bay Area in Northern California and a competitive swimmer, Matt made his way to Atlanta as a swim coach for highly competitive teams in the city.  "I'm super excited to make the move from a swim coach to the ed-tech industry," he shares, "I know how important it is for parents to know what's going on with their children and SchoolStatus is the best solution out there. I'm looking forward to contributing to such an incredible mission."

Beth Curington, Client Executive
"I'm pleased that my passion for education has brought me to SchoolStatus," shares Beth, an 8 year veteran in the K12 Market. Originally from Alabama, Beth is experienced in breaking into new states with EdTech and will be paving the way into new territories. "I'm excited to help schools bridge the gap between educators and parents."

Jennifer Tongel, Client Executive
Jennifer brings over 13 years of K12 experience to her role at SchoolStatus. Originally from Richmond, VA, she will be building relationships throughout the southeast region. "I am passionate about the power of parent engagement and so excited to join SchoolStatus," shares Tongel.  "SchoolStatus makes communication between school and home easy so that everyone stays connected and engaged which really makes a difference in a student's education."
