South Jersey's Voted Best Gym Three Years In A Row Launches 3 New Virtual Platforms to Give Back to Local Front-line Essential Workers and First Responders

VOORHEES, N.J. - May 4, 2020 - (Newswire.com)

Echelon Health & Fitness, a local and family-owned gym, has introduced a new way for people to stay healthy while social distancing. Although the gym has temporarily closed its doors, Echelon recently debuted 3 new virtual platforms. Members can take fitness classes, work with a personal trainer, and receive health and nutrition coaching, all within the comfort of their home. A portion of the program’s revenue will be used to purchase gift cards and lunches from local businesses that will then be donated to front line essential workers & first responders in the area.

Echelon is working to support their local partners through this initiative, many of whom have been impacted by COVID-19. The gym has developed a strong partnership with businesses in both South Jersey and Philadelphia as part of their MemberPERX program. They have collaborated with over 700 companies including Rodizio Grill, The ChopHouse, and Chick-fil-A in Voorhees to bring exclusive discounts to their members.

The gift cards that are purchased will be used to assist front line essential workers & first responders in the Voorhees area. The gym also plans to send hot meals to both the Voorhees Police Department and Jefferson Stratford Hospital.

"Our Mission is to help our local community, PERX Partners, and their teams to become healthier, fitter and stronger. Our three awesome virtual platforms will allow us to continue our mission, even while we are temporarily closed," said David Chung, owner of Echelon Health and Fitness.

Echelon's virtual health platform, in collaboration with VHPGO, will feature live group fitness classes and one-on-one nutrition consultations. The program will also include thousands of on-demand classes for users to choose from. Many of Echelon's instructors will be teaching virtual classes, allowing them to continue connecting with regular class goers.

Members also have the opportunity to connect with one of Echelon's certified personal trainers as part of the Thrive Anywhere program. This will allow those who have already started training to stay on track, while helping new participants to receive personalized instruction and guidance while working out at home.

For virtual health and nutrition counseling, Echelon has partnered with Well-Choices. This service will provide personalized plans, video coaching, and one-on-one sessions.
