Citibank Appoints Kathryn Dinkin Regional President of Consumer Banking for Its East Region

Citibank today announced that it has appointed Kathryn Dinkin as Regional President of Consumer Banking for its East Region. In this role, Dinkin is responsible for implementing Citi’s service and sales strategy for all Citibank branches from Boston to Miami. She will also guide Citibank’s DeNovo strategy in those markets.

“Kathryn will play an integral role in the expansion of our consumer business across the eastern United States,” said Cece Stewart, President, U.S. Consumer and Commercial Banking. “Her history of success in financial sales management and passion for client service make her a strong asset as we deepen our commitment to our providing superior client service and look to drive revenue growth in our key regions.”

Prior to joining Citibank, Dinkin was Regional President of Southeast Florida at Wells Fargo. Before that, she led Wachovia’s entry into the Texas market and managed the integration of the Wachovia acquisitions of SouthTrust and World Savings. She grew this region to include Texas, Kansas, Colorado and Illinois before being promoted to assume the larger responsibility of the Southeastern U.S. market for Wachovia. Dinkin began her career with Citibank, serving as a Citigold Executive.

Dinkin has been an active member of the Southeast Florida community, serving on the boards of United Way, March of Dimes and the Florida International University Foundation.

As Dinkin takes on her new role, Citibank is implementing a broader plan to align its U.S. Consumer Banking into three key regions - East, Central and West. Each of the three regions will be led by a regional president who will report directly to Stewart. All regional presidents will have responsibility for developing and executing comprehensive strategies that drive superior client service and revenue growth.

The East Region Dinkin oversees is comprised of Boston, Philadelphia, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida, and Washington D.C. – inclusive of both Maryland and Virginia.
