Viva La Isla Del Encanto Festival brought to you by Nieves Ministries, Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Colorado, and the Taino Nation Of Colorado

AURORA, Colo. - June 20, 2025 - PRLog -- Puerto Rican culture in Colorado has a new home. As A Taste of Puerto Rico Festival (ATOPR) is no longer active in Denver, Nieves Ministries and the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Colorado proudly announce the Viva La Isla Del Encanto Festival, the state's newest and most exciting Puerto Rican cultural event.

Taking place on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bicentennial Park in Aurora, this family-friendly, FREE event will feature live music headlined by Riaga, DJ Bawse, authentic Puerto Rican cuisine, cultural dance, artisan vendors, and more. Backed by top sponsors including KS 107.5, Callywood Music, Kona Ice, Samba Colorado (https://sambacolorado.com), and Dumpster Dash (https://DumpsterDash.com), this event brings the Caribbean heat to the heart of Colorado.

This year, the City of Aurora (https://www.visitaurora.com/events/viva-la-isla-del-encanto-fest/) officially proclaimed July 26th as Island of Enchantment Day — recognizing Puerto Rican Constitution Day and honoring the cultural legacy of Puerto Ricans in the state. The proclamation, signed by Mayor Mike Coffman, celebrates the heritage, resilience, and contributions of Puerto Rican communities.

The event is designed to fill the void left behind by ATOPR and ensure that Puerto Rican pride continues to thrive in Colorado. Search engine optimization efforts are already in place so that when people look for A Taste of Puerto Rico Denver, they will find Viva La Isla Del Encanto Festival (https://www.facebook.com/share/1F8veMgr5M/?mibextid=wwXIfr) as the leading cultural celebration.
