TRUEWERK Welcomes Glenn Silbert as Chief Executive Officer; Founder Brian Ciciora Transitions to Chairman of the Board

TRUEWERK, the performance workwear brand redefining technical apparel for the trades, announced today that Glenn Silbert has been appointed Chief Executive Officer. Founder Brian Ciciora will transition from CEO to Chairman of the Board and continue to play an active role as a steward of TRUEWERK’s product and brand.

This transition marks the next chapter in TRUEWERK’s mission to outfit modern trade professionals with gear that performs in the real world; and to help Trade Pro’s perform at their best when it matters most.

“TRUEWERK’s vision, mission, and culture along with its innovative and industry leading products has created a truly amazing brand,” Silbert said. “Working with a visionary founder like Brian and the incredible team at TRUEWERK is truly inspiring and I am honored to be joining at this exciting time in the brand’s life.”

Silbert brings over 30 years of experience in apparel and performance gear, including leadership roles at Under Armour — where he led product creation and merchandising — and Grunt Style, where he guided the brand through its evolution into a leading omnichannel retailer. His proven track record of building community-driven brands and scaling innovative product businesses positions him to guide TRUEWERK into its next phase of growth.

“Starting TRUEWERK was never about building a large company — it was about answering a need I saw firsthand in the trades,” said Brian Ciciora, Founder of TRUEWERK. “I’ve been proud to be leading this team for nearly a decade, learning, building, and earning the trust of the people we serve. This transition isn’t about stepping back; it’s about making space for what comes next. Glenn brings the experience and steady hand we need to keep growing the right way, and I’m excited to focus even more on product innovation and staying close to the people who inspire everything we do.”

About TRUEWERK: Founded in 2015, TRUEWERK has been a challenger brand in the workwear space, replacing heavy, outdated materials with technical, performance-driven apparel built for real jobsite conditions. The brand continues to support trade professionals through technical innovation, community partnerships, and a commitment to building gear that helps people do their best work.

TRUEWERK appoints Glenn Silbert as CEO, with founder Brian Ciciora moving to Chairman. Silbert’s 30+ years in performance apparel will drive growth as Ciciora focuses on innovation and brand vision.
