CORT Appoints Lee Lorenzen to VP of Corporate Business Development

CORT, the nation’s leading provider of furniture rental and destination services, today announced the appointment of Lee Lorenzen to the role of vice president of corporate business development. He will oversee CORT’s Destination Services Organization, Student Housing Division, Global Sales team, and the CORT Global Network.

“Lee’s demonstrated track record of operational experience, leadership development, and strategic growth campaigns will significantly influence our business development opportunities moving forward,” Jeff Rowe, executive vice president of business development at CORT, said. “We look forward to his continued success and valuable contributions to our company.”

Lorenzen has worked with CORT for more than 10 years, most recently serving as the managing director for the CORT Global Network, higher education and military services. Prior to that, he was the district general manager for CORT in Los Angeles. He brings over 20 years of operational experience in service environments to the company.

“As I move into this new role, our goal is to further create a cohesive organization within CORT’s already excellent global services, so that our relocation and corporate clients can see more value across our destination services and through our Global Network providers,” Lorenzen said. “Additionally, I see opportunities between our destination services and higher education offerings as we look for ways to gain synergies and grow our international student business.”

As vice president, Lorenzen will continue to work closely with Carol Santoro, director of education and military, Angela Sweet, director of destination services, as well as Melissa Arciga and Jon Harman who are CORT’s directors of our global network partnerships.

Additionally, Lorenzen graduated from Pepperdine University with a BS in International Business including studies in London, UK, and Heidelberg, Germany, and now calls Franklin, TN home with his wife Tricia and their three children. When not working, he can likely be found exploring a new lake on his boat or on a sideline rooting for his kids and their many sports teams.
