Woodlands Reserve opens in Kirkland with 31 premium homesites, including model homes and interiors designed by Emmy-nominated TV host Bobby Berk
Tri Pointe Homes®, one of the largest homebuilders in the U.S., today unveiled Woodlands Reserve, a new home community in Kirkland, Wash. Acclaimed design expert and Emmy-nominated TV host Bobby Berk designed two of the community’s model homes, and all new homebuyers at Woodlands Reserve will have the opportunity to select from four different curated design schemes inspired by Bobby Berk’s model home concepts. Model homes are currently open for viewing, ahead of an opening event on Sept. 10.
Based in Kirkland, a lakeside Seattle suburb that is home to major employers like Google and Tableau, Woodlands Reserve features 31 thoughtfully designed premium homes at prices starting at $1.6 million. This is Berk’s first Tri Pointe Homes project in the Pacific Northwest.
Designed with the burgeoning millennial demographic in mind, the homes at Woodlands Reserve offer spacious plans with flexible design options that will appeal to growing families and professionals alike. Bobby Berk designed, finished and staged the interiors of two model homes for Woodlands Reserve. His two design schemes displayed in the model homes, “Mid Century Modern” and “Serene Scandinavian,” helped inspire move-in ready designs from Tri Pointe Homes and will be available for select homesites. In addition, Tri Pointe Homes created complementary design schemes, the “Upscale Farmhouse” and “Zen Modern” that provide one of the most well-rounded and forward-thinking interior design schemes in the area. Woodlands Reserve offers homes ready for move-in as soon as October, so future homeowners have the ability to enjoy their new construction homes quicker than many other available offerings.
“With Mount Rainier, national parks and alpine lakes all within reach, Greater Seattle's natural abundance makes it a hotspot for all things outdoors and recreation,” said Bobby Berk, designer. “When designing Woodlands Reserve, Kirkland's latest new home community, I drew inspiration from both the great outdoors and the midcentury modern aesthetic.”
The serene palette of colors and materials, and nods to nature found throughout, underscore the natural beauty of the Juanita/Kirkland area and celebrate the incredible amenity of living just outside of numerous parks and trails. Drawing on Mid-Century and Scandinavian influences, each model home offers striking details that exemplify the warm, minimalist appeal of the Bobby Berk aesthetic.
“Innovation is on our DNA, so it felt like a natural fit for Tri Pointe to be the first builder to make Bobby Berk’s inspired designs available to Seattle-area homebuyers,” said Ken Krivanec, President of Tri Pointe Homes Washington. “From a fantastic location in the high-demand Juanita neighborhood, to stunning interiors and home layouts designed for how people live today, Woodlands Reserve is the whole package.”
Four brand-new kitchen designs will be offered at Woodlands Reserve:
- Mid Century Modern (featured in Bobby Berk designed model home) – Tailored, high contrast neutrals with warm walnuts, saddle and black leathers, vibrant brass and graphic patterns, and natural textures create inviting, contemporary sophistication.
- Serene Scandinavian (featured in Bobby Berk designed model home) – Tranquil, airy design scheme featuring crisp whites, cool greys, and eucalyptus green paired with warm, light-toned oak and tan leathers to create soft visual interest against classic Scandinavian silhouettes and lighting.
- Upscale Farmhouse – Clean lines and neutral whites join with pearl marbling, polished oak details, and stark black matte finishes to create an elevated breath of countryside-fresh air.
- Zen Modern – Placid neutrals, layered natural textures, and subtle gold details complement the muted black finishes and create calming yet dimensional style and sophistication.
All designs were curated from the Tri Pointe Homes Washington Design Studio, located at their Bellevue, Wash. headquarters.
In Kirkland, Woodlands Reserve neighbors the Lake Washington waterfront with skyline views, connects to a network of parks, hiking trails, and bike paths, and is a quick commute to downtown Seattle and the nearby school district.
