Jeffrey joined Craig Technologies (a parent company to Sidus Space) in 2013, where he completed an internship before joining full-time as a Manufacturing Engineer. Since then, Jeffrey served as Lead Engineer for Craig Technologies Aerospace Solutions (transitioned to Sidus Space), where he was responsible for the development and launch of the CraigX Flight Test Platform (a 2D and 3D engineering generation and analysis from start to finish), which successfully deployed in 2019. He also served as the lead engineer for Concept Constellation, a Satellite-as-a-Service hosted payload solution for testing spaceflight subcomponents to raise the Technology Readiness Level of Flight Hardware.
In his current role of Principal Satellite Engineer with Sidus, Jeffrey manages all aspects of the development and execution of LizzieSat™— a multipurpose satellite that integrates custom payloads leveraging flight-proven communications, power, navigation & computing subsystems to provide domestic and international customers with valuable data from Low Earth Orbit.
“Ryan is an integral part of the Sidus Space team. Since the near-decade we’ve been working together, Ryan is accomplished beyond his years, having successfully developed and launched our EFPT™, managing the design, fabrication, and test of the Orion Crew Capsule Mini Lift Station, and will play a significant role in the launch services for multiple LizzieSat™ satellite deployments with SpaceX,” said Founder and CEO of Sidus Space Carol Craig. “At Sidus, it’s important for us to invest in young talent and Ryan’s continued passion for the industry and ability to embrace opportunities showed my team the importance of having this up-and-coming leader join our staff.”
