On March 7, 2008, the employment of Paul A. Verdi, Jr. was terminated by the registrant, Republic First Bancorp, Inc.  At the time of his termination, Mr. Verdi was an executive vice president and the chief retail banking officer of Republic First Bancorp, Inc. and its wholly-owned banking subsidiary, Republic First Bank, and one of the registrant’s named executive officers.
