Item 8.01. Other Events.
On October 27, 2006, Insight Enterprises, Inc. (the “Company”) received an informal inquiry from
the Securities and Exchange Commission requesting certain documents and information relating to the
Company’s stock option grant practices from January 1, 1996 to the present. The Company intends to
cooperate with all matters related to this request.
