     On December 21, 2009, the Board of Directors of Lender Processing Services, Inc. (the “Company”) accepted Marshall Haines’ resignation from his position as a director of the Company. Mr. Haines has determined to enter into a new strategic business opportunity and therefore submitted his resignation in accordance with the provisions of Section 5 of the Company’s Corporate Governance Guidelines.
