Item 8.01 Other Events
On August 22, 2014, Peoples Bancorp Inc. (“Peoples”) announced that it closed its acquisition of Ohio Heritage Bancorp, Inc. (“Ohio Heritage”) as of the close of business on August 22, 2014. Peoples and Ohio Heritage first announced that they had entered into an agreement to merge in April 2014.
A copy of the press release announcing the event is being furnished as Exhibit 99 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and incorporated herein by reference.
