Item 8.01 Other Events.
On December 1, 2016, the Capital Southwest Corporation board of directors declared a cash dividend of $0.17 per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on January 3, 2017 to shareholders of record on December 15, 2016. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
