On February 2, 2009, Rosetta Resources Inc.
(“Rosetta” or the “Company”) issued a press release announcing its year end 2008
reserves and provided a financial and inventory update.
The press release
is furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report. Exhibit 99.1 shall not be
deemed to be "filed" for the purposes of Section 18 of the Securities Exchange
Act of 1934, as amended, and will not be incorporated by reference into any

On February 2,

Rosetta Resources Inc. ("Rosetta") released a presentation
giving a 2009 company update. The presentation included information
disclosed in the attached press release regarding its year end 2008 reserves and
