1.		Subject		Submission of a letter of intent to acquire Hynix Semiconductor Inc.
2.		Details		On July 8, 2011, SK Telecom Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) submitted a letter of intent to participate in the auction of the shares of Hynix Semiconductor Inc. (“Hynix”). The letter was submitted to the Joint Management Council of Hynix’ shares converted from debt, which plans to sell shares held by its members. The Company plans to make a final determination on the acquisition of Hynix’ shares after a careful consideration and thorough review.
