On March 10, 2010, SMTC Corporation issued a press release announcing its financial results for its fourth quarter and year ended January 3, 2010, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report and incorporated herein by reference.

On March 10, 2010, SMTC Corporation held a teleconference announcing its financial results for its fourth quarter and year ended January 3, 2010. A transcript of this teleconference is attached as Exhibit 99.2 to this Current Report and incorporated herein by reference.
