On October 14, 2008, Berkshire Hills Bancorp, Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has completed its offering of 1,500,000 shares of its common stock, generating net proceeds of approximately $33.5 million. The underwriters have an unexercised thirty day over-allotment option to purchase an additional 225,000 shares. A copy of the press release dated October 14, 2008 is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Report and is incorporated herein by reference.
