On April 20, 2011, Harbinger Group Inc. issued a press release announcing that its majority-owned operating subsidiary, Spectrum Brands Holdings, Inc., will issue its 2011 fiscal second quarter results and host a conference call and webcast on May 11, 2011.  A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.
