Luxottica Group exercises the option

to acquire Fenix Srl stake in Salmoiraghi & Viganò

 

Milan (Italy), November 25, 2016 - Pursuant to the terms of the agreement signed in 2012 with Fenix Srl, formerly Salmoiraghi & Viganò Holding, Luxottica Group S.p.A. (MTA: LUX; NYSE: LUX) today announced that it has exercised the option to acquire the remaining 63.2% of the shares in Salmoiraghi & Viganò. The closing is expected by the first quarter of 2017.
