Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.
Effective on April 29, 2014, Desiree Burke, Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of Penn National Gaming, Inc. (the “Company”), who also serves as the Company’s principal accounting officer, resigned from her position at the Company in order to accept a position at Gaming and Leisure Properties, Inc. Upon her resignation, Saul V. Reibstein, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, assumed Ms. Burke’s role as the principal accounting officer of the Company.
