On December 4, 2009, Paul B. Murphy, Jr., resigned as Chief Executive Officer of Amegy Bank, N.A., a subsidiary of Zions Bancorporation. Mr. Murphy will become chief executive officer of a new company being formed to acquire banks and will initially continue to support Amegy Bank as a member of Amegy Bank’s board of directors.  Scott J. McLean has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Amegy Bank and Steve D. Stephens has been appointed President.
